What is happening now.....
The pavilions remain closed for public access; however, progress is being made behind the scenes to identify and complete the repairs necessary to restore structural integrity and restore access. Contractors have been inspecting the structures and bids are being received. A comprehensive inspection has been conducted by a licensed structural engineer and the report is being evaluated to determine the scope and timing of recommended repairs. Support posts have been installed to bolster several columns at the Long Lake pavilion (see photos), to allow for the redistribution of the weight load and to mitigate further damage to any compromised structures. The safety of our property owners and guests remains our primary concern so please continue to respect the construction barriers at each site. Our pavilions are the key features at our beautiful lakes and we remain dedicated to taking the actions necessary to restore them for the enjoyment of our community in the years to come.

As you drive through the community, please note the beautiful landscaping improvements at the main and construction gates and the General Store! The addition of seasonal decor with the planting of more perennial vegetation is evident. Landscaping in the Long Branch Lakes Community involves much more thought and planning than simply visiting a garden center and choosing the most beautiful offerings. Consideration must be given to weather, wildlife, and identification as a Firewise community. Plant choices should be resilient and able to survive our cold winters, critter population and not serve as tender should a fire occur. Many thanks for the hard work! We are not done here! Keep your eyes open for the next project at Camp Lake Pavilion!
