Additionally, many infectious diseases can be prevented by regularly vaccinating your horse in the Spring and Fall. In the Spring of 2024, the LBL Barn Committee hosted and Dr. Tyler Green of Sparta, scheduled a day of vaccinations and dental examinations for the boarded and LBL community horses. All horses at the Center must provide an annual record of negative Coggins tests, maintain current vaccinations and follow a regular deworming schedule, which may include Spring and/or Fall fecal egg count testing.
